How to make a Good First Impression:
- Make eye contact and smile.
- Use client's name in a professional voice.
- Use welcoming body language.
Use Good Manners in the Salon
Clients imitate the formal and professional manner the staff employs with each other. A client can easily pick up "attitude" or lack of interest, and also sense silent conflict and dislike. Being unprofessional, rude, intolerant or ignoring another coworker, is not only uncomfortable for the client, but opens the door for similar behavior from them.
